Man in Wheelchair Robbed in Southeast D.C.: Police

Someone robbed a man in a wheelchair Wednesday in southeast D.C., police said

Surveillance camera video from inside and around a liquor store on Wheeler Road show the robber saw the man in the wheelchair at the checkout counter and helped to push him outside.

At about 8:30 a.m., they arrived at the parking lot where the robber stopped and began to talk with the man in the wheelchair. He took whatever the man had in his hands and walked away from him.

The robber wore round glasses, a bright green button up shirt, black pants and brown shoes.
