Police are seeking an SUV driver who hit a pedestrian in West Lanham Hills, Maryland, Wednesday and then sped off, officials say.
A driver in a silver 2003 to 2005 Ford Ford Expedition or Lincoln Navigator hit the victim hard enough to shear off the SUV's right side-view mirror, Prince George's County police said.
The victim, who suffered potentially life-threatening injuries, was hit on the 7600 block of Annapolis Road by a driver headed eastbound. Police were called to the scene, near the New Carollton Metro station, about 8:35 p.m.
