A man is in serious condition after a brutal attack overnight in Chinatown.
D.C. police say someone beat the victim with a cane. It happened overnight Wednesday in an alley near the 500 block of H Street NW.
Police are investigating a motive for the attack. So far, there have been no arrests in the case.
