Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing in Southeast D.C.

Police have identified a man who was fatally stabbed in southeast Washington Thursday night.

Offices were called to the 900 block of Barnaby Street SE at 10:38 p.m. for an accident with injuries. When they arrive, police say they found 44-year-old Ernest Harkum lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds.

He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No suspect information is available at this time.

A $25,000 reward is being offered for any information that can lead to an arrest. Anyone with information that can help police should call 202-727-9009.
