Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in NW

    Homicide detectives are investigating at the scene of a fatal shooting in northwest Washington.

    At about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, an officer who was patrolling an area near Meridian Hill Park called in a report of shots being fired.

    When officers arrived, they found a man shot to death at the corner of University and Euclid. They then spotted two male suspects, chasing them north before catching them at 15th and Fuller.

    Officers recovered several weapons. Both men were arrested and charges are pending.

    The victim's identity has not yet been released.
