Police Investigate Double Shooting in Southeast D.C.

Police say two people were shot in Southeast Washington early Monday morning.

Officers were called to the 4900 block of G Street SE just before 2 a.m., where an adult male was found with a gunshot wound to the face. A 17-year-old girl was shot in the chest and both legs.

Both were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.

No suspect information is available at this time.
