Police Investigate Man's Death in Southeast D.C.

    Homicide detectives in D.C. are investigating the death of a man in southeast Washington.

    Officers were flagged down at 8:25 p.m. Sunday because of a fight in the 2300 block of Alabama Avenue SE. When they arrived at the scene, they found the victim, 21-year-old Rayshawn Hailstck, lying on the ground unconscious. 

    He was taken  to an area hospital, where he later died.

    Police have not released any suspect information but say their investigation is ongoing.
