Police Investigate Md. Dorm Sex Assault Report

Police are investigating a report that student at a Baltimore boarding school was sexually assaulted by fellow students in a dormitory.

Officials at the SEED School of Maryland said Monday that the alleged attack occurred on May 28 and they have launched an investigation. The student told officials that he was attacked by seven boys in the dormitory of the public college preparatory school in southwest Baltimore.

School officials say the counselor on duty at the time of the incident has been released and the accused students are now subject to ongoing dismissal hearings.

Officials say they are also working with the student who was allegedly assaulted and his mother to assure them of their due diligence and supporting them however they can.
