A heads up for people in Bowie - don't be surprised if you see a large police presence tonight at the Bowie Town Center.
Police are holding a full-scale training exercise there, starting at 8 p.m.
Exact details of the exercise are not being released. But Police Chief John Nesky describes the incident his officers will respond to as being “intense, dynamic and realistic.”
The Prince George’s Fire Department and Simon Properties, which owns Bowie Town Center, will also be involved.
