Police Close Eastbound I-70 in Md. After Corn Spills on Road

A crash involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 70 in western Maryland has spilled corn on the roadway, closing the eastbound lanes.

Maryland State Police are on the scene of the crash Friday in Hancock. Police say the corn spilled all over the interstate, according to The Herald Mail.

Officials say the highway will likely be closed for several hours until the corn is cleaned off the road.

Police have set up a detour for drivers.
