Police Chase Ends in Crash, Arrest

Police chase starts in Maryland, ends in D.C.

A police chase that started in Maryland Thursday night ended with a crash in D.C.

The chase started in Oxon Hill, Md., and ended at the intersection of East Capitol Street and Benning Road in southeast Washington.
   
Police said they spotted a car wanted in connection with several robberies at 7-Eleven convenience stores in Prince George's County.

Investigators said that when officers tried to pull the car over in Oxon Hill, the driver took off.

Officers caught up with the vehicle in Southeast , where police said the driver rammed into a police cruiser and both cars crashed.

All three suspects inside the vehicle took off.
   
Police eventually caught up with one of them and arrested him.
   
His name has not been released.
