A body was found inside a burning car early Sunday morning in Mitchellville, Maryland, according to police.
A Maryland-National Capital Park Police Department spokesman said police officers were called to investigate the report of a body inside a burning car at the Enterprise Golf Course in the 2800 block of Enterprise Road.
The Prince George’s County Police Department, the Prince George’s County Fire Department, and the Maryland-National Capital Park Police Department have launched a joint investigation into the circumstances leading up to and surrounding the person’s death. The person’s identity has not been released.
