Police said a man was found dead on railroad tracks in Hyattsville, Md., early Saturday morning.

Authorities said the man appears to have been struck by a CSX train at Tanglewood Drive and Buchannan Street around 5 a.m., but the cause of death has not been verified.

A bike was also found nearby.

There was no identification on the body, which was taken to the medical examiner’s office.

CSX traffic along the tracks was suspended for a short period of time.
