Police said they've arrested a man for writing anti-Semitic graffiti in Washington's Chinatown.
Generoso Anthony Capodilupo, 60, was arrested Monday and charged with multiple counts of defacing public or private property. On five different occasions in early August, Capodilupo allegedly defaced Chinese zodiac rat murals with anti-Semitic graffiti.
Police said on Sunday, he drew swastikas on the windows and tables of a coffee shop in the area. and on Monday, he went to a different coffee shop, where he drew swastikas on the business' window.
On three other occasions, Capodelipo is accused of defacing artwork on the street at the Chinatown Arch at 7th Street, Northwest and H Street, Northwest. The art contains the animals that represent the signs of the Chinese zodiac.

The writing on the symbol for the Year of the Rat was removed by the Downtown D.C. Business Improvement District.
Police said Capodilupo does not have a fixed address. It was not clear Tuesday afternoon if he had an attorney.
