Persons of Interest Sought in D.C. Homicide

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying four people who may be connected to a deadly shooting in southeast D.C.

Officers were called to the 2600 block of Douglass Place SE on July 4 for a report of a shooting. Dwayne Gene Dillard, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say four other people were injured in the shooting.

Investigators have released surveillance footage that shows four men with guns walking along the street. One of the men can be seen firing his weapon.
