An argument over a beer can in Northwest D.C. ended with one man hospitalized. News4 has learned he was trying to keep his neighborhood clean. As Jackie Bensen reports, the attack has people in the U Street corridor furious.

D.C. police identified a person of interest in a beating over a beer can in northwest D.C.

Security cameras caught part of the incident outside a condo on W Street. The victim told police another man attacked him when he asked him to pick up an empty beer can outside his building.

The victim spent several days in the hospital and had to have his jaw wired shut.
