Police have arrested a person in connection with a death early Wednesday morning in Beltsville, Md.

Just before 4 a.m., police got a 911 call for a report of trouble at a house in the 3500 block of Cherryvale Drive. Once inside the home, police found a woman's body.

Investigators were talking to someone described as a "person of interest," and just after 6:30 a.m. police led a man covered in a bed sheet from the house to a waiting police cruiser.

Police later said they made an arrest in the case.  They believe that the incident was domestic in nature.

The identity of the dead woman and the suspect in custody have not been released. Police will only say that the victim suffered "trauma" to her body.
