Three Teens Sustain Severe Lacerations in Attack at Alexandria Hotel Party

Three teenagers sustained severe lacerations in an attack at a hotel party in Alexandria that apparently occurred after an argument over liquor.

Multiple people were drinking while underage during the party at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center Hotel in the 5000 block of Seminary Road early Friday, said Alexandria Police, who reached the scene about 1:30 a.m.

Police believe two suspects were involved in the attack. They hope witness accounts will lead them to the suspects, who could be charged with malicious wounding and assault.

Two 18-year-olds and a 17-year-old, all male, were taken to a hospital with severe lacerations. One of the 18-year-olds is in serious condition, police said. The other two victims have injuries that are not life-threatening.

Hotel management said they did not know there was a party and did not serve them alcohol. Police were contacted by a guest at the hotel.

Numerous party-goers have been charged with possession of alcohol by a person under 21.

The 21-year-old woman who rented the rooms has not been charged.

Detectives are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Will Oakley at 703-746-6606.
