A pedestrian was fatally struck by a CSX train in Southeast D.C. on Friday morning.
Officers were called to the area of Pennsylvania Avenue and M Street SE just before 5 a.m.
No additional information has been released.
Just a day earlier, another person was struck and killed by a train about three miles northeast of Union Station.
