Peeping Tom Starts 30-Year Sentence

A sexual predator who photographed women without their knowledge is starting a 30-year prison term.

Robert Onley III, of Frederick, Md., was sentenced in court Thursday, The Frederick News-Post reported. The 37-year-old pleaded guilty in February to 11 charges involving seven different women.

Onley used a stolen camera phone to secretly take pictures of women while they were changing, prosecutors said. Some of the pictures also show him fondling the women while they were passed out drunk.

Police said they identified Onley as their suspect after he lost the camera phone while trying to break into a car. They said while he took pictures of the women he also unwittingly took photos of himself while aiming the camera up women's dresses.

In addition to Onley's prison sentence, the judge banned him from using electronic recording equipment -- including any type of camera -- while he is on five years of supervised probation, following his release. Onley is also prohibited from having pornographic materials, The News-Post reported.
