Pedestrian Struck by Metro Bus in Downtown D.C.

An individual was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a Metro bus Monday.

According to police, the incident was reported just before 5 p.m. at 18th and K Streets NW. The pedestrian stepped off the curb and walked in front of a D1 bus heading north toward 39th and Calvert Streets NW.

No one aboard the bus was injured.
