Pedestrian Struck In Northwest

A man suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Northwest.

Investigators say the incident occurred at around 4 a.m. at the intersection of 19th Street and K Street Northwest. It is not clear what caused the accident, though police say it was not a hit-and-run incident.

The intersection was re-opened shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday. The investigation is ongoing.
