A 55-year-old man struck by a car Friday night in Glen Burnie died from  his injuries.

According to Anne Arundel County Police, Donald W. Warfield was crossing Crain Highway around 8:30 p.m. when he was struck by a car.

The driver remained on the scene and was not injured.

Police say neither speed not alcohol were factors in the crash, and it was likely caused by "pedestrian error."

Warfield was hospitalized at Baltimore Washington Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead Saturday morning.
