Officials say a pedestrian who was struck while crossing the street in northwest DC in May passed away from his injuries.
Police said a 2013 Mercedes Benz E350 traveling eastbound on Connecticut Avenue may 16 struck 53-year-old Dereck Audrey while he was crossing the street.
Audrey died from his injuries Monday.
The case remains under investigation, according to police.
