A man who parents entrusted with the care of their children has been charged with sex crimes.  Tony Ray Malbrough worked as a pastor and a music teacher at a Waldorf church when the alleged crimes occured.

According to police, he used the power of his position at the New Community Church of God In Christ to abuse young boys.  As a choir teacher, he often worked with young children.  Monday, a 14-year-old boy reported being abused.  Since then, police say other alleged victims have come forward.

Neighbors say Malbrough lives in the Indian Head area with his wife and children.  According to detectives, he offered private music lessons, and would bring boys to his home.  That's where the alleged abuse took place on numerous occasions over a period of several years.

Malbrough is facing a laundry list of charges, including child abuse and possession of child pornography.  He is being held on $500,000 bond.
