Party Crasher's Celebrity Stylist Subpoenaed by Grand Jury

A grand jury is investigating whether the alleged state dinner crashers lied to a government official, and a celebrity stylist has been asked to appear.

A source close to Erwin Gomez said the celebrity stylist has been subpoenaed. Peggy Ioakim, the hair artist who did Michaele Salahi's hair at Gomez's salon before the state dinner at the White House, also has been subpoenaed.

It all started on Nov. 24 when Michaele Salahi and her husband, Tareq, a couple of wannabe "Real Housewives of D.C." cast members from northern Virginia went to President Barack Obama's state dinner with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of India. Despite not being on the guest list, the couple got in. After they posted pics from the event on their Facebook page, concerns about homeland security were raised and investigations were launched and the Salahis have been stars of actual TV rather than reality TV ever since.

In the aftermath, three Secret Service officers have been placed on administrative leave, the Salahis invoked the Fifth Amendment in refusing to testify before the House Homeland Security Committee, Obama has insisted such a "screw-up" won't happen again and the White House closed the case by requesting the Homeland Security Committee cease and desist investigating.
