U.S. Park Police say they have removed a structure from the site of the Occupy D.C. encampment in downtown Washington.

Park Police spokesman Sgt. David Schlosser says an officer on patrol discovered the 12-foot-by-12-foot wooden structure at McPherson Square about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday. Schlosser says no one claimed ownership of the structure and that it was removed from the park.

  No arrests were made.

Earlier this month, 31 protesters were arrested after refusing to dismantle and get down from an unfinished wooden structure they had erected in the park. The protesters have been living at park for months.
