Palin for President 2012 is still up in the air. But the former governor is already planning a trip to our area.
Sarah Palin is scheduled to speak later this year at a women’s conference at Liberty University. Liberty’s chancellor, Jerry Falwell Jr., told The News and Advance of Lynchburg in an e-mail that the event will be broadcast to more than 1,000 churches.
She’ll scheduled to speak to the Extraordinary Women Conference at the university on October 7 and 8. The conference website says its mission is to bring women closer to “the heart of God.”
Falwell said in the e-mail that Palin is widely admired by Liberty faculty, staff and students, despite what he calls “vicious and unrelenting” attacks on Palin and her family.
