District police are looking for a gunman who opened fire on a Pepco worker Thursday night in northwest Washington.

Two employees were working on a manhole at the corner of 1st Street and Rhode Island Avenue when police said the workers got into an argument with a group of people.

Officers said one of those men returned with a gun and shot one of the workers.

The bullet grazed the victim.
