Drivers on the section of the Capital Beltway near Tysons Corner can expect some overnight road closures this week.
The construction work is part of the multi-billion dollar project to extend Metrorail from Falls Church through Tysons Corner and eventually to Washington Dulles International Airport and Loudoun County.
Officials said the Beltway's southbound lanes between Old Dominion Drive and Route 123 in McLean may close for 15 minutes or so at some point between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The nightly closures are expected through Saturday.
