A section of the Beltway's Outer Loop has reopened following a HAZMAT leak.
A semi truck crashed near the exit for River Road (Exit 39) early Tuesday morning, causing the spill and shutting down the Outer Loop lanes between I-270 and River Road.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue were on the scene for the cleanup.
At one point, traffic was backed up for six miles.
