Montgomery County police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Olney that killed one person.
Police said the incident occurred after 4 a.m. Sunday on Hines Road at Blossom View Drive. Images taken from the scene show the passenger side of the SUV was destroyed and the vehicle came to rest against a tree
The victim is identified as Lisa Ann Smith, 43, of Olney. The driver, an adult male, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are investigating the possibility that speed and alcohol were factors in the collision.
