Two Killed, Six Injured in Boating Accident

A boating accident at the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore killed two people early Sunday morning, according to the Maryland Natural Resources Police Department.

Crews were able to rescue six people. They taken to the hospital. Two people were taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, two others were taken to another hospital, and two more were treated on the scene.

One person's body was recovered early Sunday morning after daylight. The other body was recovered Sunday afternoon, according the DNR.

Baltimore County police said the single boat accident occurred near Fort Carroll around 3:10 a.m.

The identities of the persons involved have not been released, pending notification of relatives.
