One Killed, One Injured in Prince George's County Crash

One person was killed and one other injured in a two-vehicle collision in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Saturday night.

Police said one car attempting to make a left hand turn from Branch Avenue to Earnshaw Drive in Brandywine when they struck another vehicle on Earnshaw Drive. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to Southern Maryland hospital and was pronounced dead.

The deceased victim was identified as Anthony Armstrong, 32, of Temple Hills. A passenger in the first vehicle, Juliet Murphy, 36, of Brandywine, was also taken to the hospital. Her condition is unknown.

Police said the driver of the first vehicle, Elizabeth Wilson, 62, of Brandywine, was uninjured.

The investigation continues.
