One Dead in Northeast Double Shooting

Police looking for two gunmen

Police in the District are looking for two gunmen in an early morning double shooting that left one man dead and another in critical condition.

Investigators say gunfire erupted at approximately 1:45 a.m. Saturday near 1100 Bladensburg Road in Northeast. One of the victims, identified as 44-year-old Raymond Harris, of Northwest, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say a second victim, whose name has not been released, was found shot in a nearby car. He was taken to a local hospital, where his condition remains critical.

Police the two gunmen were wearing ski masks. Anyone with information is asked to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411 to submit information anonymously. D.C. Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
