One man died in northwest Washington after he and another man were found suffering from gunshot wounds early Saturday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Investigators said officers responded to the 600 block of Kennedy Street, Northwest, around 2:15 a.m. and discovered the two men, who had been shot. Medical crews said one man was dead on the scene, and the second man sustained life-threatening injuries.
The second man was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The man who was pronounced dead was identified as Saul Flores, 36, of Northeast. The second man has not been identified.
