A former D.C. private school teacher is showing he's a little smarter than the FBI. At least for now.

Eric Toth was once a teacher at the upscale Beavoir Elementary School in Northwest Washington.

Last June, he used a school issued camera to secretly take video of a young boy in a Beauvoir bathroom, according to police investigators.  Beauvoir administrators escorted him out of the building. And that was the last time he was seen in this area.

FBI agents tracked him to his parents home in Madison, Wisconsin. Then his car was found at an aiport in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, along with a suicide note, which was believed to be a ruse.

Toth was indicted on child pornography charges last December, and his story was featured on the t-v show America's Most Wanted.

In June, agents received a tip he was living and working at a homeless shelter in Phoenix. But when they got there, he was gone. He has changed his appearance, and has now grown a beard, the FBI said.  He faces 30-years in prison if he's caught and convicted.
