Officers Honored at Law Enforcement Awards

More than 150 officers honored at USAO Law Enforcement Awards Ceremony.

Men and women behind the badge were honored for their extraordinary service last night.

The U.S. Attorney’s office recognized more than 150 law enforcement officers and agents for their efforts in the successful investigation and prosecution of 58 cases, MyFoxDC reported.

The 30th Annual Law Enforcement Awards Ceremony took place at the Cannon House Office Building on Capitol Hill. Among the honorees were two special police officers who shot and wounded a gunman at the Holocaust Museum gunman last June.

The honorees also included 11 D.C. police officers who investigated the Banita Jacks case. She's the mother convicted of murdering her four daughters.
