Police in Ocean City said they arrested a man who allegedly stole a car after he posted videos of the theft and where he would be on Snapchat.
Officers were called to Seacrets nightclub Saturday morning after a Jeep Wrangler was stolen, police said in a news release. Investigators quickly found the car at a nearby condominium building but had no information on a suspect.
Detectives developed information that a suspect posted videos of the theft and the car driving erratically on the town's main drag, police said. The suspect's Snapchat story also indicated that he would be at Seacrets Saturday night.
Police arrested 24-year-old Brian Engelmann of Mastic Beach, New York. He is charged with negligent driving and numerous other traffic offenses.
