You may know News4's Craig Melvin as anchorman, but now you can call him grill master, too.
He won the Celebrity Grill-Off Showdown in Alexandria on Saturday afternoon. The event benefits local charities.
Melvin picked up $5,000 for the non-profit "Back on My Feet." The organization uses running and road races as a way for homeless to build confidence and self-esteem, and to restart lives.
To win the competition, Melvin had to grill his best Stockman & Dakota steaks, using his own special recipe. And just like a journalist protecting his sources, Melvin is keeping his recipe a secret.
