A free service new to the D.C. area is matching those who need their snow cleared with those who can help.

The service is only for residents who are disabled, injured or physically unable to shovel snow. All you have to do is click "Request Assistance" and type in your address on snowcrew.org. Once your request is made, you will receive a confirmation phone call or email.

Organizers say 50 volunteers have already signed up to help dig people out around the D.C. area.

If you want to help shovel, you can sign up for that on the same site.
