New Montgomery County School's Chief Plans Town Halls

Effort to learn community concerns & answer questions

The new superintendent of schools in Montgomery County has a plan to get to know the community.
Joshua Starr is holding ten "listen and learn" town hall-type events throughout the school district.

During the sessions Starr will take questions from the audience and discuss the issues that are raised.

The first is September 6 at 7 p.m. at Northwest High School in Germantown.  The other scheduled meetings are September 8 at 7 p.m. at Thomas Wootton High School; September 12 at 7 p.m. at Springbrook High School; September 19 at 7 p.m. at Albert Einstein High School; October 3 at 7 p.m. at Watkins Mill High School; October 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School; October 18 at 7 p.m. at Long Branch community Center, November 1 at  7 p.m. at Damascus High School; November 7 at 7 p.m. at Wheaton High School, and November 21 at 7 p.m. at Sherwood High School.
