The highly anticipated Maryland Live! Casino in Anne Arundel County will open its doors Wednesday, June 6 at 10 p.m.
The new casino will feature more than 3,000 slot machines and electronic table games like blackjack and roulette. That's more than twice as many games at either of the first two casinos to open in Maryland.
The casino’s developer says that by this fall, the number of machines will grow to 4,750, making it one of the largest in the entire country.
In addition to plenty of games, Maryland Live! will also feature six restaurants and a live music venue.
Analysts expect this new casino to generate more than $400 million a year in revenue.
If you need your gambling fix right now, the casino has launched a “play-for-fun” website that allows people to play virtual slots and sign up early for their rewards card.
