Neighbors Band Together to Save 100-Year-Old Home

A group of neighbors in Chevy Chase is banding together to protect a 100-year-old house from being torn down.

Developer Robert Holman bought the historic home on Morrison Street back in November. Neighbors said they like the character of the old house and don't want a modern eye sore in its place.

Holman wants to tear down the home and build a new one twice as big in its place. The community gathered outside the home with signs yesterday asking him to reconsider.

Holman has torn down a number of older homes in D.C. area, but this is the first time neighbors are protesting a demolition.
