Need a Divorce in Maryland? Don't Have Sex

Maybe living together during divorce isn't such a good idea.

If you want to get a divorce in Maryland, you have to live apart for one year.

Montgomery County Delegate Luiz Simmons has a better idea. 

The Maryland lawmaker is behind new legislation that would let courts grant divorces to couples who go a year without having sex.

"War of the Roses," anyone?

Simmons said it would ease the initial financial burden for couples -- especially those with children -- because they could remain in the same house during the year-long waiting period.
