The head of the Navy's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office is meeting with those responsible for carrying out prevention education in Virginia.

Rear Adm. Sean Buck will be at Naval Station Norfolk on Wednesday.

Buck will address more than 100 sexual assault response coordinators undergoing annual training.

Among other things, sexual assault response coordinators coordinate sexual assault awareness campaigns, collect sexual assault data and provide referral services.

The Navy says Buck, who is the head of the Navy's 21st Century Sailor Office, will participate in some of the training.
