The National Zoo reopened at noon after a gas leak in an administrative building was secured.
The zoo reported the leak after 10:30 a.m. No animals were affected.
No injuries were reported.
The pedestrian entrance and Rock Creek and Harvard Street vehicle entrance reopened at 12 p.m., but the Connecticut Avenue vehicle entrance will remain closed as a precaution.
