NORAD to Conduct Training Exercise Over D.C. Area Monday Night

NORAD says local residents can expect flights from late Monday until 5:30 a.m. Tuesday

The North American Aerospace Defense Command is scheduled to conduct a training exercise over the D.C. area.

NORAD says local residents can expect flights from late Monday until 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The exercise, called "Falcon Virgo," is designed to test NORAD's intercept and identification operations. Civil Air Patrol aircraft and a U.S. Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter will participate in the exercise.
