NBC4's Collins Emcees H Street Festival

Saturday's party lasts until 7 p.m.

An all-day party is planned for Saturday on H Street in northeast Washington, and NBC4's Pat Collins is leading the celebration.

Food, fashion shows, street parades and music will all be part of Saturday's H Street Festival.' The party begins at noon and lasts until 7 p.m. Last year's event drew a crowd of 50,000.

During the festival D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray will help unveil the latest official walking tour in the city. The Greater H Street NE Heritage Trail already runs through the area.

Collins will be serving as the event's master of ceremonies. You might be able to spot his familiar white hat.
