Move to Big 10 Means Big Bucks to College Park

The University of Maryland's big showdown with Ohio State kicks off at noon Saturday in College Park.

The school's decision to switch to the Big Ten has meant big bucks for the university and local businesses. The Marriott Hotel in College Park is sold out ahead of today's game and for the next three weekends.

Today's game is the first sell out since 2008 and season ticket sales are up 25 percent over last year. The city said many businesses are reporting a boost from the big change.
